Service Description
**ARK PLAY CAFÉ – PRIVATE HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS** **Duration:** 3 hours | **Capacity:** Max. 40 adults + 30 children. **Booking:** $100 non-refundable deposit required. Full payment due Monday of event week. Final numbers due Friday prior. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. **Bump-In/Out:** 45 minutes bump-in and 30 minutes bump-out are included, subject to availability. Extra 30 minutes: $100. Extra hour: $150. All belongings, decorations, catering equipment and rubbish must be removed within the agreed time. **Tables & Chairs:** For staff safety, Ark Play Café staff cannot move, remove or carry heavy downstairs tables/chairs or carry furniture between floors. If you wish to move downstairs furniture, you must organise this yourself and return it to its original position. Children's tables/chairs may be provided upstairs or downstairs where available. We do not decorate tables or chairs; clients must organise their own styling. **Catering:** Ark Play Café or external catering is permitted. External caterers must bring their own cups, plates, cutlery, serving items and tablecloths. Alcohol is not permitted. Café drinks or a drinks tab are available. External caterers must remove all food, rubbish, packaging and equipment. No supplier rubbish may be left at the venue. **Decorations:** Permitted if safe and non-damaging. No confetti, smoke machines, open flames or unsafe hanging decorations. Helium balloons must be weighted. Decorators must remove all decorations, equipment and rubbish. **Safety:** Children must be supervised by a responsible adult. Staff do not supervise children. Socks are required in play areas and shoes must be removed. Ark Play Café may end an event for unsafe, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour. **Cleaning & Damage:** Standard cleaning includes normal sweeping/vacuuming, mopping where required, wiping surfaces, normal spill clean-up and emptying venue bins. It does not include excessive mess, catering/decorator waste, packaging, decorations or personal rubbish. Additional cleaning/disposal fees may apply. The client is responsible for damage caused by guests or suppliers. **Agreement:** Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these Private Hire Terms & Conditions.
